Today I read an interesting article on Daily Mail Online about the rise in the number of women going grey in their twenties.
At 26, I myself have recently noticed a couple of white hairs showing up across my parting and it is quite shocking when you witness them for the very first time.
Notice I use the word 'white' and not grey.
There is actually no such thing as grey hair. We perceive people to be various shades of 'grey', but this is just determined by the percentage of white hair they have mixed in with their own natural hair colour.
Some people blame stress where as others believe it is genetically determined.
Whatever the reason there are varying different colouring techniques available to help disguise these white hairs, ranging from allover tints to cover the white hair completely to highlights and lowlights to help blend the white hair away, and what works best for one person can differ to the next, depending greatly on your own natural hair colour and the level of maintenance you are comfortable with.
