ARTHURS ON THE GREEN

If you fancy dinner with a difference why not try Arthurs on the Green for their Sunday night film club 'screen on the green'.

A small, intimate restaurant on the edge of Twickenham Green, this gourmet bistro prides itself on providing good home cooked seasonal food with genuine, warm and attentive service.

The interior boasts an electic array of unusual and somewhat flamboyant features such as mosaic tiled table tops and a theatrical looking table for two with privacy curtain- perfect for a cosy dinner date.

The evening begins at 7pm where you can enjoy a starter and main from the set menu which is themed around the movie.

The only concern is that there are just 2 options on the set menu so if you like neither then you may be disappointed, however the kitchen appear happy to tinker with ingredients and willingly made up my salad minus anchovies at my request.

At around 8.30pm the lights are dimmed, the candles blown out and everyone is invited to make themselves comfortable (and grab extra cushions if needed!)

little pots of home made ice cream are handed out during the film and coffee is served afterwards. All for £25 per head (excl. drinks & service)

You can sign up to the newsletter on their website for updates on forthcoming screenings.
