John Frieda 3-day straight

Launched at the start of the year this semi permanent styling spray has been flying off shelves nationwide so I decided to put it to the test.

Designed to mimic the effects of a Brazilian blow dry (the phenomenon sweeping salons across the globe!) this product claims to give results that last 3 days (rather than 3 months like the salon version)

Designed for people with naturally curly or wavy manes, this product contains keratin, a protein naturally found in hair, the keratin wraps itself around each strand of hair, conditioning and sealing to prevent a return to the hairs natural state until it is next washed.

The spray action makes application easy, it MUST be applied to wet/damp hair, NOT dry!

spray evenly in sections, comb through, blow dry smooth and then straighten in small sections with irons. It is the straightening process with the irons that activates the product so do not expect to see results if you are a wash and go kind of lady.

From day 1 my hair felt more silky to the touch and I had compliments that my hair looked shinier than usual.

Day 2 and I noticed after waking up that my hair was a lot more tame than usual after a nights sleep.

As someone who usually straightens their hair every single day, I am hoping that this product will now allow me to reduce straightening time or even forgo straightening on non hair wash days altogether.

If your hair is already straight this isn't going to rock your world and it wont give the professional and longer lasting results of a salon style Brazilian blow dry, but if you have wavy or curly hair and are a straightening addict then it will condition and reduce the amount of time you spend on straightening and give longer lasting staying power to the results.

Currently Superdrug are selling this at £5.49 (rrp £6.99)
